Текст песни Nazareth — Claimed говорит о том, что есть вещи в жизни, которые мы сознательно скрываем от других людей. Даже близкие не всегда знают нас настоящими. Главный герой песни не хочет разглашать свои тайны, потому что он боится быть обнаруженным, но его все же настигает правда. Он живет в обществе, где каждый играет свою игру, и он тоже не исключение. Но теперь его открыли. Он признается в этом, но уже поздно. Теперь его тайны стали явными. Мы все ищем свою истину и иногда ее находим, но она может найти нас и тогда оставаться в тени уже невозможно.
